One of Horeb Ministries’ primary focuses is on biblically training pastors in the rural areas of Guatemala. Working with our Guatemala non-profit (Asociacion Misionera Horeb) we have been able to train almost 300 pastors in all evangelical dominations in Alta and Baja Verapaz.  The pastors come to receive training from all different communities, many of whom have to travel many hours from their villages.

The reason we became involved in training pastors is because we saw a need for them to possess biblical tools in order to develop their ministry in their own congregations.

We will continue to give biblical training to each one of our pastors and our desire is to found a Bible Institute which would serve to train future workers for the Lord (be they pastors, missionaries, evangelists, Sunday school teachers, etc). We hope to give them the training they need to go back and serve in their communities or wherever the Lord calls them.
